Venture Spanish is a privately owned and operated Spanish language education service that offers classes throughout San Diego county. We specialize in providing a full-emersion Spanish learning environment that is both challenging and fun for children of all ages and backgrounds.

Studies show that learning a second language has many benefits beyond basic communication, and that the younger the student, the easier it is for him or her to acquire a second language.

Being bilingual creates more flexibility in thinking, greater sensitivity to language, and better listening skills. It also promotes a greater appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures and nationalities.

We are passionate about teaching Spanish and about helping children to grow linguistically, intellectually, and socially.

I began my teaching career in France, where I taught Spanish at the World Trade Center of Marseille to entrepreneurs, engineers, doctors, and university and elementary school students. I also worked for several private companies in Europe, including Eurocopter, Cadarache Nuclear Energy, Coca Cola, and Evans.

I have taught foreign languages in San Diego for the last four years. I am currently teaching international students, both adults and children, at Converse International School of Languages in San Diego.

Teaching is my passion, and working with children is magical. Kids naturally love to talk, laugh, and play, and learning a new language becomes constructive play for them.

I am currently completing my master’s degree in education.

I received my B.A. in teaching Spanish as a foreign language from Humboldt State University. After graduation, I continued my studies in Europe, receiving Spanish and French diplomas in Spain and France.
